DR. CANDACE GILES-ERVIN
Dr. Giles is a triple-board certified child/adolescent, adult, and forensic psychiatrist who has been working in the outpatient psychiatry field since August 2018. She started her own mental health company in 2021 named PsychSynergy Practices, LLC. She also works as an independent contractor conducting psychiatric evaluations and treatment for other organizations. Dr. Giles is a genuine person and promises to keep things transparent with you while still providing comprehensive, compassionate, and collaborative care to meet your needs. She utilizes a biopsychosocial approach to better understand her patients in order to provide the best care for them. Dr. Giles believes that treatment includes a variety of tools and is not limited to just pharmacotherapy. She enjoys engaging and working with the different systems surrounding each patient including their family, school, work, and other specialty healthcare providers.
Dr. Giles specializes in seeing children, adolescents, and adults from ages 5-55 who are struggling with depression, bipolar and mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, psychosis, disruptive behaviors, eating issues, and sleep-wake disorders. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and friends, traveling, reading, going to concerts/festivals, movies, and fun game nights.
Dr. Giles is only licensed in the state of Georgia and can only provide care to Georgia residents. Telepsychiatry does provide added convenience for patients but be mindful that some visits will need to be in-person especially if prescribed any controlled medications.
